Simone has been dancing since the age of 3 and has been with Dance Strides Barbados since its inception in 1994. She has performed at such prestigious events as Christmas at Ilaro Court (1993), Night of the Tattoo at the Holetown Festival (2005 - 2008), Art in Dance (2005), the National Cultural Foundation Dance Circle (2007), National Independence Festival of Creative Arts (NIFCA) (2007) and the Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) Signing Ceremony (2008) to name a few, as well as all of the Dance Strides Out shows.

A member of the Performing Company, Simone has also been a part of the production team since Dance Strides Out 10 and the choreography competitions. As part of her efforts to progress her dance, Simone has attended the Howard University Dance Program's Dance Intensive (Summer 2008) under the tutelage of the late Dr. Sherrill Berryman-Johnson, M. Sheron Trotman and other noted dance tutors.
