Megan Edwards is a dancer, choreographer and dance educator.

She received her early dance training at Dance Strides Barbados and went on to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Performance and Choreography at the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts (EMCVPA), Kingston, Jamaica.

Not only is Megan trained in Modern, Caribbean Folklore, and Jazz, she is also trained in Ballroom and Latin - genres in which she has competed across the Caribbean, and has taken examinations under the International Dance Teachers’ Association (IDTA) where she is currently at Gold.

Megan is a member of Riddim Tribe, and she was a member of L’Acadco – A United Caribbean Dance Force and DanceWorks. Performing with these companies taught her resourcefulness, team-building skills, and the power of collaboration and excellence. She also has experience as a stage technician, with skills such as designing and operating lights and sound, as well as stage management.

Her vision is a Caribbean that appreciates dance, and her mission is to be a representative for dancers whilst helping to change the negative view that society has of dance being a viable career.
