Michelle Allman is a choreographer, dancer, and teacher, who studied Ballet, Modern and Jazz under M. Sheron Trotman at Dance Strides Barbados. She has taken part in most of the school productions since its inception in 1994, and in 2005 she was honoured to be invited to teach Jazz classes at the school.  

 

Her professional dance career started at The Barbados Museum performing in a dinner show, 1627 and All That, and in 1984 she joined Sietu Productions headed by Danny Diallo Hinds. She traveled to New York with that company, and while there attended dance classes at The Alvin Ailey American Dance Centre. That same year she joined the cast of Tropical Spectacular at the Plantation Garden Theatre.  In 1998 she was appointed Dance Captain of the troupe, a post she held until December 2010 when she officially retired from professional dancing.

 

Michelle is the Managing Director and owner of Zhone Entertainment Inc.
