Jamal Dawe aka “Derpy Mally” has been dancing from the age of 10 and is trained in Ballroom and Latin and Street Dance.

 

Jamal is one of the first five Internationally Qualified Associate Street Dance Teachers in the English-speaking Caribbean under the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) and teaches Hip Hop at Dance Strides.

 

A NIFCA 2018 Gold Awardee and Prime Minister’s Scholarship winner, Jamal is the Manager and a member of the Multifarious Dance Crew, Barbados’ most awarded street dance crew on the island.
